Oxfordshire Teacher Training – Information Event

Join us to find out how we can help you to become a teacher through School Direct with Oxfordshire Teacher Training.

This event will offer you the chance to meet our central team as well as graduates from our programmes and those currently training with us. The event will include an introduction from our Director, explaining what our graduate School Direct programmes are and how to apply for them via UCAS. We will discuss routes into teaching, the eligibility criteria, qualifications, financial incentives and just how rewarding a teaching career can be! Interested applicants are then welcome to stay for more personalised advice from a member of the team or to ask questions about the experiences of our current/ graduate Associate Teachers.

This event is suitable for:

• those currently working in schools – graduate Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors, Administrative staff etc.
• recent graduates looking to start a career in teaching
• current students in their final year preparing for post-graduate study and/or work
• anyone interested in training to become a qualified teacher
